PRINTING ON VIS-IT™ STICKY NOTES PRODUCTS

Many VIS-IT™ users want to print their ideas on our products and then use these pre-printed sticky notes in repeat applications. The double-edge adhesive feature found on most of our products makes this easy to do without jamming printers. To help users, we have created four Powerpoint™ files to share with our customers.

Users can print on sheets of the following products: a six-inch hexagon, a Jumbo hexagon, a Big Idea Pad, and the Great Big Idea Pad. Simply, the idea is to affix a single VIS-IT™ sheet on an 8.5" x 11.0" piece of paper, and then run it through your printer, capturing whatever words or image you wish. Of course, the trick is to position the VIS-IT sheet in the proper place on the paper (the backer) and to limit the printing area to the surface of the sticky note you are using.

To help our users, we have created a universal "VIS-IT™ Printing Backer" that has alignment guides for all the products mentioned above. For use with the printing backer, we offer three other Powerpoint templates that help users control printing on the sticky note surface. Of course, the words printed on these templates are temporary space holders that are to be replaced by the ideas captured by the users. Note: instructions for printing on a Great Big Idea Pad sheet (8" x 12") are found on the Printing Backer.

Whether you want to print key slides from your Powerpoint presentations on Great Big Idea Pads, or pre-print re-useable headings for Matrix Thinking sessions, or pre-print hexagons for multiple idea-clustering exercises, or any other application where pre-printed large sticky notes would be valuable, then these files can help.

Download the files below by right-clicking on each file name, and then selecting "Save Target As" from the menu. Then, save each file in the location of your choice.
